From September 20-27, 2026, the Catholic Church in the United States celebrates National Migration Week, which concludes with the World Day of Migrants and Refugees. This year's theme for that day, chosen by Pope Leo XIV, is "Even just one of these children," a reference to Matthew 18:5: "Whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me."
